The most important aspect of trying to live in the Divine Will is to be in a state of sanctifying grace. Confession and penance are excellent ways of preserving this state. Weekly confession is a A priority. Turning off the TV or not having one is also a big mortification. But to fall in love with Jesus is what is really needed. You have to ask for this gift and it will be given to you.
Telling Jesus that you love Him pleases him greatly. Asking Him for His Mercy that no one wants consoles Him.
